Join us for a powerful and heartwarming celebration of resilience, wisdom, and community spirit!🌟
Meet our incredible elders—trailblazers who have created full, vibrant lives whilst managing sickle cell. Through inspiring stories, practical life tips, and plenty of humour, they’ll share their journeys navigating health, wealth, careers, relationships and more.
This event shines a light on the challenges and unexpected gifts of aging of aging with SCD, while empowering younger people to prepare for the road ahead.

- A celebration of those who’ve reached 50 and over

Who Should Attend:
- Anyone living with SCD at any age!
- Families and carers of people with SCD
- Young people transitioning to adult care, their parents/guardians
Family-Friendly Note:
While we welcome families, the content of this event is not suitable for very young children. If you do plan to bring little ones, we kindly ask that they are always supervised to ensure a comfortable experience for all attendees.
Food Provided: To keep you energized throughout the day, we’ll be providing a selection of refreshments.

Event Location:
The event will be held at Warwick Community Centre Hall, 294 Harrow Road, London, W2 5SR.
The venue is wheelchair accessible; all amenities are on the ground level including a disabled toilet. Very limited street parking available.
The entrance to the hall is accessible from Cirencester Street, the hall is at the rear of the modern apartment block, opposite LEYF Royal Oak Nursery & Pre-School.
