London North West Sickle Cell - Public Engagement Event
Would you like to join us for an engagement event with sickle cell service users on Thursday 27 October
You may know that we have made several recent changes to our sickle cell service, including a significant amount of training, and building a dedicated sickle cell unit on our haematology ward.
However, we recognise that there are long term and more systemic improvements that we must undertake to make the sickle cell service work better for our local people.
We are deeply committed to making these improvements in partnership with our patients and those who live with sickle cell in our communities. We see it as vital that any changes we make are supported and influenced by those for whom the service means the most.
For this reason, we are holding an engagement event later this month where we hope that patients, service users and local people affected by sickle cell will join us to hear our proposals for improvement and share their views on how we can do better.
The event will take place:
· Between 5:30pm and 7:30pm on Thursday 27 October
· Face to face, at the Park Royal Suite, Central Middlesex Hospita
