SICKLE is a powerful and insightful docufilm that delves into the history and impact of sickle cell disorder. This event, presented by The Red Cell Network in partnership with South West London HCC, will take place on 23rd October 2025. SICKLE explores the journey of those affected by this condition, featuring moving patient stories and expert insights from healthcare professionals.

We are excited to partner with the NIHR BioResource - Improving Black Health Outcomes (IBHO) team at UCLH to showcase their powerful mini-movie funded by Genomic England. Featuring patients and healthy volunteers sharing their testimonies of joining the study, the film highlights the importance of taking part and being involved in the change that Black communities across the UK need. Through these authentic stories, the film aims to raise awareness, inspire participation, and promote health equity.

Join us for an evening of education, inspiration, and awareness as we shed light on this critical health issue.
